Basic Info
Name:Larsa Ferrinas Solidor
Birthdate:05-23
Bio
Character: Larsa Ferrinas Solidor
Series: Final Fantasy XII
Version: towards the end of the first game, middle of the final battle
Age: 12
Gender: male
Sexuality: straight, but he's WAY too young for that
Appearance: Larsa looks a good deal like a formal medieval page. His short dark brown hair curls up behind him and above his collar. Parted on the side, his bangs stay in a chunk all their own on the left side of his face. His eyes are brown and kind, though the high arch to his eyebrows often makes him look angry or upset when he's merely thinking something over. A white collar drapes over his shoulders to about mid-back, the height of which covers the sides and back of his neck, as if for protection. The collar sewn into the vest top is ruffled and white as well, though the vest is green with patches of dark red. The blue double-serpent pendant of House Solidor falls over his chest, connecting both sides of the large white collar. The sleeves are poofy and white, nearly covering his white-gloved hands. A gold insignia adorns both shoulders on the sleeve. The vest ends about mid-thigh, where it joins patches of brown leather and red fabric. The leggings Larsa wears are light blue with little raised arch patterns leading to white and bronze fabric tied to his thighs. That fabric ends right above his leg covers. A brown piece begins the ensemble, sewn into to green section that covers the sides and backs of both legs. The green is tied to the brown knee and shin guards and also across the bottom half of his shin. This covers red leggings and leads to the brown and red shoes.

Personality: Larsa is very strong-willed, though his specialty is working things out. He's known for being kind and caring and is usually good at using that to help solve problems. Though he is an Emperor now, he is a good one and doesn't like ordering. Larsa prefers asking over demanding and as such has garnered himself lifelong friends. His loyalty is unwavering and his spirit is pure. He may only be 12, but he's wise in years, though still innocent. He received his brother's penchant for strategy, though he never wants to use it for military reasons. Larsa is extroverted when he needs to be, quiet, but well-spoken. Even with his kind-hearted soul, the young Emperor won't hesitate to take down anyone who causes needless pain and suffering - including his own brother. He acts like he's noble-born, though he doesn't lord it over anyone, and often stoops to the level of the common born despite how obvious it is that he is noble.

Abilities/Weaponry/Strengths: Larsa's unlimited potion ability is, obviously, null and void here. He can still wield a sword with ease, arriving with Joyeuse (his sword), Swordbreaker (the elongated golden shield of sorts), Chanter's Djelleba (his armor), Lambent Hat, and Tourmaline Ring (which protects from magical poisons). He also is good at parrying blows, focusing his energy and strength as he fights, and He is a good fighter, though he dislikes doing so just to fight. He has great strategic abilities from watching his brother Vayne at work and is a great problem-solver.
Weaknesses: Larsa tends to see the best in everyone he meets and as such is prone to being led on for a while before crashing on his face. Now that he's grown up, he's become better at that, but he still tends to take everyone at face value, assuming they are what they seem on the outside. Larsa is a tad naive as well, but that comes with seeing the best in everyone. Larsa would never be able to pass for a common-born citizen. His speech pattern would give him away in a heartbeat.

History: Larsa is the youngest of four sons born to Emperor Gramis of House Solidor, the ruling house of Arcadia. At only twelve when first introduced, Larsa hasn't experienced much of the world. He first meets the main characters in the sky city of Bhujerba, where he asks to accompany them to the Lhusu Mines under the name "Lamont," with the intent of finding out about the magicite extracted from here. He reveals that he knows quite a bit about the magicite, but fortunately the questioning he's about to receive from Balthier is paused by the arrival of the bounty hunter Ba'Gamnan. Chased out of the mines, the main party stays behind to avoid being seen coming out of the mines by Judge Ghis of Arcadia and Marquis Ondore of Bhujerba. Larsa, however, walks straight out, seeing that a young girl, Penelo, was found wandering alone in the mines. He saves her from questioning by stating that if it was a crime to walk the mines alone, then he is also at fault, a statement that has the Judge and Marquis faltering.

It is as Larsa takes Penelo and leads her away that the main party realizes they were running around with the younger brother of Consul Vayne and the youngest son of the emperor of Arcadia, the country that had taken over Dalmasca two years ago.

Larsa takes Penelo to Ondore's estate in Bhujerba, where he tells her she will be safe with him and that he is Vayne's brother. Not long after, the two are taken to the airship Leviathan as that is the ship usually used to take the young lord places. As he attempts to help Penelo escape, they run into the main group and he turns her over to them, handing her a shard of nethicite before he leaves with Vossler to find another exit. They rejoin later on the ship and escape to Bhujerba, where Larsa is escorted back to Archades.

It's assumed that he had contact with Prince Al-Cid Margrace of Rozarria after this because when he next appears, it's in Jahara, home of the Gariff. Here he convinces Princess Ashe to accompany him to sacred Mt. Bur-Omisace, where he says he has someone he wants her to meet, someone who can help prevent the war. His escort is, yet again, nowhere to be found, so he accompanies the main group all the way. Once there, Al-Cid tells them that negotiations are impossible as someone has slain the emperor of Arcades. As can be expected, Larsa doesn't take this news very well. When the party leaves for the Stillshrine, Larsa stays behind, opting to go home with Judge Gabranth when he arrives. Larsa does his best for a while to convince Vayne not to start this war, but is frustratingly ignored by his sibling.

He stays with Vayne until the very end, when the Skyfortress Bahamut is activated and the party confronts Vayne. The eldest Solidor warns the younger to stand aside, but Larsa draws his sword against his own brother, saying he can't stand idly by while Vayne causes so much pain and bloodshed. Larsa is knocked out after one battle with transformed Vayne, waking up in Paixao.
